Coming from a decade of experience in the architecture and engineering field combined with an accomplished academic background, Anup founded ECO Matrix after realizing a void in the AEC industry, and sought to improve it. Building energy simulations are expensive and limited in scope and are more often used just for code compliance, rather than design optimization. ECO Matrix helps close this gap by helping Architects design the most energy & cost-optimal buildings. Working as a professional “Building Energy Simulation Specialist” Anup has gained extensive knowledge of building design and construction including advanced HVAC systems, energy efficiency, thermodynamics, thermal comfort, reduction of CO2 emissions, renewable energy systems and environmental sensitivities related to built environments. This education and expertise went directly into creating ECO Matrix, and his quest to strive for a high standard of excellence in energy modelling and design of energy efficient-buildings is what pushes ECO Matrix forward.
